ABOUT THE ARTIST
I was born on the wrong side of the Bronx Zoo. How had this happened? Why was I here? It was all quite puzzling. Suddenly my childhood came and then it went. I thought it best under the circumstance to go to art school and become an artist—a painter in oils no less. Somehow it was the only thing that made any sense. So I jumped right in. It wasn’t easy, but I paid my dues and learned how to duck and cover and to hold a brush securely. I started to relax, and mysteriously I found myself on this road where there were no directions. In a place where nature dreams of landscapes and I dream of nature. After that, things moved fast. I painted and painted, and when I paused and looked around, I saw lots of paintings—big ones, small ones, tall ones, and short ones—some I sold and some not. All of them painted by me over the past 40 plus years. However, it’s all still happening. My dream continues, its nature is still unfolding. What will happen next? Come see.
